Ministries & Activities at SCC
BENEVOLENCE:
Aid and/or
assist those in dire need of food, clothing and financial help.
CARE MINISTRY:
Welcomes, with
Christ’s Love,
those who are first time attendees at SCC.
CHARIS GROUPS:
Small
home Bible study groups that visitors are
more than welcome to attend.
EVANGELISM:
Conducts many
local outreaches to reach the lost.
FAMILY BIBLE
HOUR:
Meets every Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
There are classes for every age
group.
NURSING HOME:
Visits the shut-in to meet their spiritual needs
through
testimonies, song and sharing the Word of God.
PRAYER:
Leadership
& Pastor’s Prayer Teams, Armor Bearers,
Prayer Chain and First Friday night
Watchfire Prayer.
PRISON:
Instructing
prisoners in God’s Word, leading them to a
knowledge of the Truth in hope they
will repent and escape
the trap of sin that has taken them captive.
REBEKAH:
Helps someone
in need of a cooked meal, ride to the doctor’s,
or anything else a person may
need.
SOCIAL
ACTIVITIES:
Prepares meals for church activities like Easter
Sunrise breakfast, Father-Son/Mother-Daughter and Thanksgiving banquets
and
funeral dinners.
WOMEN OF GRACE:
Women’s ministry
that meets twice a year for lunch,
fellowship and a guest speaker.
CHILDREN & YOUTH
SCC has several ministries for Children and Youth:
Extreme
Youth Ministry:
provides
an atmosphere where youth feel
comfortable to share & hear God’s word and
to
grow in their faith.
Junior Church:
Meets
every Sunday morning.
Kingdom Kids:
Meets every
Sunday evening, from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.
VBS:
Vacation
Bible School
is held every summer.
